His Wings Ranch

Special Education

Dylan learns to write in the new classroom.  Many of our kids with behavioral and physical challenges also require special education to make accommodations for  their learning and physical challenges. We are excited to open two special education classrooms this year. Families have been waiting for years to have a place to educate their children and thanks to a generous donation of portable buildings from Horizon Church and Serving Hands International we now have the facilities.

Josefina our main classroom teacher works with Arya and Jazmin’s to accommodate their autistic temperaments in the new facility.

She is an exceptional teacher proficient with small and large classrooms of kids.

Speaking of classrooms. Check out the outside of our newly installed and refurbished classrooms standing out like a beacon of hope in a part of Mexico where otherwise running water and electricity don’t exist.

It took Serving Hands’ Donation, volunteer help, blood, sweat and tears to transform the used portables into finished facilities for the kids.

Elena was recently hired to teach our autistic kids.

Maria is an autism specialist seen working here with Geraldo

Scholarships

Yoshira received a scholarship through supporters of His Wings Ranch to attend school to become a pediatric nurse.  She has lived with Sue and Johnny at the ranch  for over a year after being raised in an orphanage. She has been a blessing to the the ranch and so grateful for the opportunity to serve. We are excited for her future.

Partner with Us

We are now serving 80 kids at the ranch with many benefitting from Special Education. Help Josefina, Elena and Maria to serve these kids in need. The buildings are in place, the classrooms are ready and all we need is some support for our teachers.
